Atlanta Officials have accepted 13 recommendations on how to improve communities with a history of disinvestment via what is now a $10 billion program that launched last year.

The city council met on Monday, May 4, to decide whether to accept the final recommendations for the Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative (NRI).

The council voted 13 to 1, with the sole opponent being Atlanta City Councilmember Kelsea Bond.
