It’s estimated the recent and ongoing protests calling for racial justice may be among the largest in U.S. history.

According to The New York Times, several polls estimate between 15 million to 26 million Americans have joined in demonstrations since the death of George Floyd and others.

And while protesters take to the streets, in boardrooms across the country, many corporations are releasing statements and pledging to improve diversity within their own companies.

Still, what can be done to move beyond words and create actionable outcomes and solutions?

Partners at one local law firm recently announced new programs aimed at making their workplace more inclusive.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” J.C. Roper and Douglas Burrell, partners at the Atlanta-based law firm Drew Eckl and Farnham, joined host Rose Scott for a conversation about their firm’s approach to diversity and inclusion.
