Thousands are expected to gather at the Lincoln Memorial for Friday’s March on Washington.
It’s been 57 years to the day since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech flooded the National Mall on Aug. 28, 1963. That march was titled the “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.”
This year’s march is being called a “Commitment March” to raise awareness about racial injustice across the United States.
