Nick Turbo Benson is an Atlanta-based artist who paints murals of dinosaurs, birds, banjo-playing frogs and other creatures. He is also an illustrator who has created illustrations for books such as “Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know.

Benson first became interested in creating art when he was a kid.

“I would always get in trouble at school for drawing when I was supposed to be paying attention. Now that I’m older, I think it has become the opposite–where I make art to change the real world around me to something more interesting,” the artist said. “And I think that’s something street art can do.”
