The composer and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra double bassist joined Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” to talk about the Orchestra’s performance of his work, “Everything Lasts Forever,” as well as the upcoming recording of Kurth’s music written for the ASO.
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra with conductor Robert Spano performs “Everything Lasts Forever Thursday and Saturday in Symphony Hall. The Riverside Chamber Players perform Kurth’s string quartet “Some of a Sudden” in a pre-concert recital on Thursday.
