The Chattahoochee Brick Company was located in northwest Atlanta, along the Chattahoochee River. The City of Atlanta bought the property in 2022, after community groups worked to block industrial plans for the property.

The City of Atlanta and its partners are designing what the future of the Chattahoochee Brick Site in west Atlanta will look like — including a memorial, park and connected trail system.

But, they are looking to the public to lead this designing process.

“We want your help to brainstorm at this point where would you want the trail to go, and what experience you want to create for people on the trail,” said Leslie Grady with Chrysalis Lab, an impact firm in Atlanta that’s helping take community ideas and make them into real plans for the Chattahoochee Brick Site.
