Clarkston Community Health Center is working to stop and prevent the spread of COVID-19 among its patients and staff of volunteers — even if its physical doors are shut due to the outbreak.
The nonprofit clinic, located in Clarkston, has been closed for one month to adhere to the social distancing guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The free clinic that provides health care services to mostly resettled refugees, immigrants and migrants who live in the city of Clarkston, has suspended face-to-face visits for now — but has since launched telehealth services to accommodate its patients.
