Formed in 2001, the Jupiter String Quartet places a strong emphasis on developing relationships with classical music audiences at all kinds of venues: concert halls, schools, even airports. One of those performances actually came when they visited WABE during one of our Cornerstone Society programs. In advance of their upcoming appearance at Spivey Hall, we’re going to revisit some of the highlights from our conversation with the group this past summer. The members of the Jupiter String Quartet are violinists Nelson Lee and Meg Freivogel, her older sister, violist, Liz Freivogel and cellist Daniel McDonough.
