On City Lights’ series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature guitarist, singer and songwriter Brandon Reeves. “I like to think that I play a lot of different kinds of music, but I normally describe my music as country, folk, blues,” Reeves said.

Reeves loves the music scene in Atlanta. “It’s kind of like a big, small town. It’s like a small big city, so the size and the people… it just kind of works for me,” Reeves reflected. When Reeves likes to hear live music, he goes to Blind Willies, Eddie’s Attic, Variety Playhouse and the Tabernacle.
