It’s a fine time for Dad’s Garage, Atlanta’s funniest non-profit theater. The improv theater and studio is welcoming back longtime alum and former artistic director Jon Carr in the new position of executive producer.

He brings with him a wealth of recent experience serving as executive producer for the legendary improv institution Second City, and Jon is ringing in his return with an impressive slate of upcoming shows.

Coming up on Feb. 29, a one-night-only improv show will feature comedy giants Tim Meadows, Matt Walsh, Brad Morris and Joe Canale, all Second City veterans.

In this interview, Carr joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk about this upcoming night of unscripted fun and other exciting new plans for the Garage.
