May the 'farce' be with you! 'Wicket: A Parody Musical' pokes fun at Star Wars galaxies at Dad's Garage

This season at Dad’s Garage, “May the farce be with you!” Returning to the stage at Dad’s Garage is one of the funniest unofficial extensions of the “Star Wars” universe, “Wicket: A Parody Musical.” 

The hit show reveals untold tales from the perspective of the Ewoks, celebrating “Star Wars” fandom while poking fun at the numerous absurdities in George Lucas’ sprawling creation. Wicket opens this Friday, September 15.

In this interview, “City Lights” senior producer Kim Drobes speaks with the show’s director, Suehyla E. Young, and with “Wicket” co-creator Travis Sharp, who also performs as Emperor Palpatine.

The parody musical opens at Dad’s Garage this Friday and runs through October 21. More information is available here.
