DECATUR, Ga. — A jazz club will open this summer at the 1935 Decatur Post Office building on East Trinity Place.

The Mary Lou Williams Jazz Center will be located at 141 E. Trinity Place in downtown Decatur. Renowned jazz club Churchill Grounds will establish a flagship performance venue within the center. Churchill Grounds and Cornerstone Jazz Collective are partners in the new venue, which will include a restaurant, a recording studio and a music academy.

The news release described it as an “integrated ecosystem” to support artists and engage the community.
