Journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort were among four people arrested by federal agents on Friday.
This comes as tensions continue to rise in Minnesota after the shooting deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Earlier this month, Lemon and Fort both reported on a protest at Cities Church in St. Paul. It has been alleged that an ICE official serves as a pastor of the church, which sparked the protest. Following the incident, the Trump administration promised retaliation against Lemon.
For Feedback Friday on “Closer Look,” host Rose Scott opened the phone lines, asking listeners to share their thoughts about the unfolding situation in Minneapolis, ICE enforcement and President Trump’s leadership during the first year of his second term in the White House.
