Elisa Desidiro and a friend stand in awe of a newly installed, towering 14-foot sculpture along the Freedom Parkway trail — just outside the Victory Sandwich Bar.
“It’s such a beautiful piece,” Desidiro notes with a smile. “We were driving by, and I was like, I want to go see it.”
The sculpture, a man reaching his hand out and made of scrap metal, is called “Rebirth.” And for artist Jonathan Imafidor, the past several months have been just that.
