The Georgia National Guard is finalizing plans to mobilize about 75 members to work at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in Georgia.

It follows a request made by ICE.

In a statement, Gov. Brian Kemp says Guard members will provide administrative and logistical support but not conduct law enforcement functions like making arrests.
