The interim president of Georgia Perimeter College has announced a plan to lift the school out of the financial turmoil left behind by his predecessor.
The school must slash $25 million for the coming fiscal year.
The plan – released today by interim president Rob Watts – (click for PDF of the outline) includes cutting at least 185 jobs, increasing class sizes, reducing the amount of tutoring services, scaling back student recruiting, and delaying indefinitely planned construction projects.
