Georgia lawmakers at both the state and federal level continue to weigh in on violent immigration operations across the country, as federal agents patrol Minnesota and Maine.

The responses show a sharp contrast between the state’s Democrats and Republicans, with few Georgia Republicans commenting at all.

Both U.S. Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff from Georgia have spoken against the Department of Homeland Security’s targeted actions, mourning the loss of the two U.S. citizens who were killed by federal agents in Minneapolis. Both senators said they would not approve the additional funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement that is currently under debate in Congress.
