Vice presidential candidates U.S. Sen. JD Vance from Ohio and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz took center stage Tuesday for a 90-minute debate. Both candidates agreed on a variety of topics, but they differed on policy. Domestic issues such as reproductive rights, immigration and the economy were some of the top issues discussed.
On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Fred Hicks, an Atlanta-based political strategist and analyst, and GSU politics and policy professor Tammy Greer gave their analyses of the debate.
They also shared their thoughts about how international conflicts and the ongoing response to Hurricane Helene might play in role in how voters vote on election day.
