Allison Anderman is senior counsel at the Giffords Law Center, led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who was shot in 2011 at a community event in Arizona.
Georgia did not pass any laws this past legislative session that would have tightened gun control, but came close to passing a bill that would have made concealed carry permits from any other state valid in Georgia.
