Ceci Aaron, the daughter of Billie and the late Hank Aaron, says she likes to think her father had a hand in the Atlanta Braves winning the 2021 World Series.

Aaron, who was a guest on Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” told program host Rose Scott that she didn’t watch Game 6 live, but says she did watch the replay and was so excited about the Braves’ championship win.

During the conversation, Aaron explained that her family is still grieving after her father’s passing earlier this year, but said if he were alive, he’d be so proud of the Atlanta Braves and would share these words with the team: “I think he would say job well done, keep it, keep your focus on what you need to focus on,” said Aaron.
