The work of puppeteer, filmmaker, and artist Jim Henson is loved throughout the world and holds a special place in Atlanta.

Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts is home to hundreds of original Henson puppets, the largest collection in the world.

Ron Howard directed a recent Disney+ documentary, “Jim Henson: Idea Man,” exploring the artistry of the Muppet universe from its humble beginnings through decades of creative evolutions. The Center for Puppetry Arts’ artistic director emeritus Jon Ludwig recently joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to unpack this latest journey through the mind of Jim Henson.
