Great minds think alike, and it’s not rare for blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa to be surrounded by greats. At age 12, he was touring with B.B. King and putting out his own blues albums.

Now, the three-time Grammy-nominated artist has released a new single in collaboration with Peter Frampton, a fresh take on the classic track “Four Day Creep” by Frampton’s ‘70s supergroup Humble Pie.

Humble Pie is widely regarded as one of the first supergroups in modern music, with Frampton emerging from the rock band The Herd, and his bandmate Steve Marriott from Small Faces. Marriott died in 1991 during a fire, but Humble Pie continues to inspire rock fans across the globe.

Joe Bonamassa is one of those fans, and he joins Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” to talk about the collaboration between himself and Frampton bringing rock guitar fans’ dreams come true.
