If the word “vibes” were a band, Khruangbin would be that band.
They bring a sound that is difficult to categorize. Their fluid style is influenced by international music and rhythms — both past and present. They are performing at the Fox Theatre Sept. 26 and 27 and at the Eastern on Sept. 28. Khruangbin members DJ Johnson and Laura Lee Ochoa joined “City Lights” producer Summer Evans to discuss their latest album and tour.
