As recovery efforts continue in Georgia in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, a local nonprofit is stepping up to bring essential items to those in need.
Helping Mamas is working to deliver 200,000 diapers, wipes and feminine hygiene products to help families in South Georgia communities.
On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Jamie Lackey, the founder of the nonprofit baby supply bank, talked with show host Rose Scott about a diaper drive drop-off event on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon at Pace Academy in Atlanta.
