Local veterans are honored with free rent payment

Research suggests the number of veterans experiencing homeless is declining.
According to data from the 2022 Point-in-Time Count, there’s been an 11% drop in veteran homelessness since early 2020.
Despite the decline, many veterans are still in need of wraparound services.
