New book from Pamela Warner, mother of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, aims to educate parents of child actors

Talent comes in all shapes, sizes and ages. With Atlanta’s booming film and television industry, some parents may be wondering how to handle the ambitions of their own young, talented performers.

For just such parents, author and talent manager Pamela Warner wrote a new book called “A Parent’s Guide to Managing Showbiz Kids.” Pamela is the mother of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his role as Theo on the “Cosby Show.”

“City Lights” managing producer Kim Drobes spoke with Warner about her story of discovering a star in her family and helping make her son’s dreams come true.
