After recent high-profile challenges at the leadership level of YouthPride, a new organization is forming.
“It’s just about youth banding together and make sure we have a voice,” says Chris Kontopidis, media liaison for JustUsAtl, a new Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and transgender youth group.
Kontopidis says members want to stay away from what she calls a “contentious and political” battle surrounding YouthPride.
