One More Day of Icy Roads for Metro Atlanta

One more day.

The National Weather Service says metro Atlanta should see temperatures above freezing by Thursday afternoon.

There are reports of black ice throughout the area Thursday morning, due to frigid overnight temps which led to re-freezing in some spots.

Although this week’s storm only brought about three inches of snow to the metro Atlanta area, thousands of commuters were stranded on roadways this week.

Gov. Nathan Deal Wednesday defended the storm response as “reasonable,” but acknowledged key mistakes.
