Each Spring, the SCAD School of Fashion debuts student collections in their annual SCAD Fashion Show. Seniors and graduate students showcase their innovative designs and sartorial styles.
This year’s show opens with the premiere of the university’s latest fashion film, “Dimensions,” directed by SCAD alum Chris Finn. The runway show is Friday, May 19 at 8:30 p.m.
In this segment, “City Lights” producer Summer Evans spoke with Dirk Standen, who was named the dean of SCAD School of Fashion last August, and with Atlanta SCAD fashion student Maliki Gilbert.
