Annise Mabry and Benae Ingram met online in 2013. Shortly afterwards, they began dating long-distance and married one year later in December of 2014.
In that time, however, Benae’s multiple sclerosis took a turn for the worst. In the StoryCorps Atlanta booth, they talk about navigating uncharted territory together.
