Perhaps it’s the perfect blend of Southern food and hospitality that makes one of Atlanta’s oldest restaurants so special. The Colonnade, described by some as “a country club without a membership,” is now preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The restaurant, located on Cheshire Bridge Road, has served generations of families.

While some of its current staff have worked at the Atlanta staple dating back to the 1970s.

Some of the favorite items on The Colonnade’s menu include fried chicken, fried catfish, and fried pork chops, among other comfort foods. Over the years, the key food destination has also become a hot destination for productions, with many movies and television shows being filmed in its dining hall.
