Born in Sudan and raised in Minnesota, nonbinary musician and actor Dua Saleh has emerged in recent years as a dynamic force in the creative world, captivating audiences with their genre-defying tunes and standout role in Netflix’s Sex Education.

Their music blends elements of R&B, hip-hop, indie pop and dancier electronica – creating a unique sound imbued with deeply personal storytelling.

The musician is currently on a world tour, performing their October debut album, “I Should Call Them.” They will appear at Center Stage’s Vinyl on Jan. 31, alongside LA-based musician Sam Austins. They recently sat down with “City Lights” producer Jacob Smulian to discuss the album and their upcoming tour.
