At least a thousand people gathered in downtown Atlanta on Saturday to march to the state Capitol in protest of the Trump administration’s policies on immigration, elections, healthcare, the environment, education, foreign affairs and more.

Memorial Drive Greenway was lined with a sea of decorative protest signs and flags, while speakers blared. Several people came dressed in costumes and attire that matched their protest message.

One protester, Stefan, came dressed as a handmaid from the TV show “The Handmaid’s Tale.” He said he believes the costume and what it stands for could happen today.
