What happens when two young women are vying for the title of Miss Ghana? Things get ugly. True Colors Theatre Company’s latest production in their “She Griots” series is titled, “School Girls: or the African Mean Girls Play.”
Tinashe Kajese Bolden is directing the play and joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes in studio.
The play opens Feb. 11 and runs through Mar. 8 at True Colors Theatre Company. There will be a free cast talk after the show on Feb. 23. Feb. 20-22 is daddy/daughter weekend.
