In this installment of “Valerie Jackson In Conversation,” Jackson talks with Atlanta-based chef Jake Rothschild, who owns Irwin Street Market and Jake’s Ice Cream. He’s also the founding chef of The Cooking Schools at Irwin Street–in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward and The Village in Hapeville–an entrepreneur, community organizer and urban farmer on the southside of Atlanta.

Rothschild and Jackson will discuss some new entrepreneurial ventures he’s involved in around East Point, College Park and Hapeville, as well as ways in which he gives back to the communities in which he works. Rothschild also talks about the value of working together in the kitchen with your loved ones or in team-building sessions with your co-workers at one of his teaching kitchens.
