Researchers at Georgia State’s Department of Psychology have been working with researchers at the University of Pretoria in South Africa to better understand how to help caregivers communicate with children with developmental disorders who live in developing countries.

Researchers at the institutions created a web-based app called “Nna le wena,” which means “me and you.”

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” MaryAnn Romski, a regents’ professor in Georgia State’s Department of Communication and Department of Psychology, talked more about how the app works and the findings of a study that she co-wrote.
