What’s Ahead For Gun Legislation In Georgia General Assembly

WABE’s Lisa Hagen, a reporting fellow for Guns & America, discussed what could be ahead for gun legislation as the 2020 Georgia legislative session gets underway this week.

Georgia is a relatively gun-friendly state that’s only gotten gun-friendlier in recent years.

It’s been six years since the so-called “Guns Everywhere” law made it possible for those with a permit to carry a firearm, well almost everywhere.

More recently, it became legal for students with weapons-carry licenses to carry concealed guns on campus.
