Last December, DeKalb County kicked off its bicentennial year, and since its founding in late 1822, DeKalb has evolved from a rural county to a thriving urban mecca.

The DeKalb History Center’s exhibition “200 Years of DeKalb” chronicles this period and is on display through the end of this year.

In this interview, “City Lights” producer Summer Evans spoke with curator Rebecca Selem-Martin about the exhibition.

“200 Years of DeKalb” is on view at the DeKalb History Center through the end of the year and more information is available here.
