Atlanta, GA – Almost every Monday for the past 17 years, singer-songwriters – including people like John Mayer and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles — have flocked to a small wood-paneled second-story club off a downtown Decatur alleyway. The attraction is Open Mic night at Eddie's attic? and there are many good reasons performers sign up months in advance. Dana Goldman reports.
