East Lake Resident Votes For Paul, Sunday Booze

DeKalb voters, and those in several other counties and municipalities across Georgia, voted on Sunday sales.

In the East Lake neighborhood of DeKalb County early Tuesday afternoon,  Christian La Rosa was one of two people voting at the DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts.

He says he turned out today for two reasons.

One, he wanted to vote in favor of Sunday sales, which are on the ballot in DeKalb and several other counties and municipalities across Georgia.

And two, he was compelled to cast a ballot for Ron Paul.

“He hasn’t changed his rhetoric since the beginning of time. Since previous elections, he’s been the same person,” La Rosa said of Paul.  “For the Republican Party, he’s the best candidate.”

Polls have Ron Paul getting between three and nine-percent of the Republican votes in Georgia’s primary.

La Rosa says if Paul isn’t the GOP nominee, he plans to vote for Barack Obama in November.
