A bill passed by the Georgia House of Representatives would allow people to register to vote online. The option would be offered in addition to paper applications. Proponents say it would create an easier system for Georgians and the state.
A person would need a state driver’s license or an ID card from the Department of Driver Services to register to vote online.
Republican Buzz Brockway sponsors the bill.
