Nearly every day for three years, Edward Griffin has taken advantage of the amazing acoustics in Atlanta VA Medical Center parking deck–to play original compositions on his trumpet. He does it for the joy of playing and to improve the spirits of patients and their families. Griffin says he gets a lot of encouragement. “People will pass me in their cars and wave and they’ll always give me a thumbs-up.”
