Atlanta Technical College is Best in State
Atlanta Technical College has been named Georgia’s best technical college of 2012.
Board members of the state technical college system chose Atlanta Technical over 24 other institutions. It was selected because of high marks on student retention, graduation rates, and administrative efficiencies.
Atlanta Technical is the eighth-largest college in the system, enrolling more than 8,000 students each year.
The two other finalists for the ‘best of’ award were Albany Technical and Athens Technical.
Ogeechee Technical College was judged the state’s best in 2011. Wiregrass Georgia Technical College won the award in 2010.
