50-Year Project to Map Regional Speech Goes Digital

Earlier this month Emory University awarded its prestigious Emory Medal to graduate school alumna Dr. Joan Houston Hall for her decades of work as Chief Editor of the Dictionary of American Regional English.  In 2012, the University of Wisconsin-based project published the sixth volume of the dictionary.  Here, Dr. Hall talks with WABE’s Steve Goss…
