Atlanta City Councilmember Jason Dozier, representing District 4, says Atlanta’s population has changed a lot over the past 10 years.

On Friday’s edition of “Closer Look,”  Dozier returned to the program to discuss his first few months in office after defeating longtime councilmember Cleta Winslow in the November election.

During the conversation, Dozier talked about the demographic makeup of his constituents, establishing a strong workforce, affordable housing, a new resolution that calls for Amtrak to reinstate passenger service to downtown Atlanta and the importance of providing safe transportation for Atlantans.

“We have the highest percentage of residents who don’t own a car, who don’t have access to a car and have the greatest need to get around safely and the infrastructure is not there,” explained Dozier.
