Atlanta Hawks Send Fourth Player To NBA All-Star Game

The Atlanta Hawks’ Kyle Korver is going to suit up for the Eastern Conference All Star team.
The 33-year-old California native replaces Miami’s Dwayne Wade, who is unable to play in the game due to injury.
Korver joins fellow Hawks Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague.

“We would like to thank Commissioner Silver for selecting Kyle as an All-Star. He is an integral part of our team and we are extremely proud that Kyle will be able to join his teammates Al, Paul and Jeff in being recognized this weekend,” head coach Mike Budenholzer said in an interview with NBA.com. “This is a positive reflection on all of the work the entire team, coaching staff and organization has put in this season.”
This is the first time in franchise history that four Hawks got the nod, according to NBA.com.
It’s also only the eighth time any NBA team has sent four players to the All Star Game.
The 2015 All Star Game takes place Sunday in New York.
