Atlanta Hawks Need Win Tonight To Remain In NBA Playoffs

If Cleveland beats Atlanta tonight, the Cavaliers would advance to the NBA Finals. If they lose to the Hawks, the series will shift back to Atlanta for Game 5 Thursday night with Cleveland’s lead cut to 3-1.

In short, that sums up the importance of tonight’s game.

Al Horford of the Hawks will start tonight after being ejected from the previous game for a flagrant-2 foul. The league could have suspended him but chose not to. The status of Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving remains uncertain. The All-Star continues to suffer from tendinitis in his left knee. And then there’s LeBron James. He’s nursing several injuries but continues to dominate the series.

The Cavaliers got this far by winning the opening two games in Atlanta and the first game in Cleveland two nights ago.
