R.E.M., the B-52’s, Reptar and of Montreal are just some of the bands from the lush Athens music scene that have become nationally (and internationally) well-known.
Another Athens band is on the cusp of bigger things. Mothers started as Kristine Leschper’s solo project, but she has fleshed out her songs with fellow Athens musicians Matthew Anderegg on drums, Drew Kirby on guitar and Patrick Morales on bass.
