Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman and his pregnant wife announced the gender of their baby in a unique way.

Chelsea Freeman released a video on Twitter where she pitched a ball to the star infielder.

The ball was filled with either blue or pink powder.

When Freeman hit the ball, it exploded in a blast of blue.

The couple said they had no idea what color of powder was in the ball before the explosion.

The baby boy is expected to arrive in September.
