This week, the DeKalb County Zoning Board unanimously rejected an appeal to stop the construction of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

On Friday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Chase Miller, the president of the East Atlanta Community Association, said that his members live about 2 miles away from the proposed $90 million, 85-acre facility.

According to Miller, the association feels like it’s being left out of the conversation about the future of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, also known as “Cop City.”
